Winner Projects


The results have been discussed at the Joint Commission of Science Development Foundation and the Ministry of Youth and Sports.

19 winning projects selected and approved by the decision of the Science Development Foundation, with total funding of 600,000 manats for the 4th Grant Competition of Young Scientists and Specialists ("My First Grant"). Success level of this grant competition   (by the number of projects involved and winning) was high enough (56%).

These grants were given to young scientists and specialists who applied for a grant only for the first time. During the selection, preference was given to the professionals of multidisciplinary and applied research, based on the results of the scientific expertise on projects submitted on scientific research topics planned by scientists and specialists from various academic and educational institutions and field research institutes.

The winning projects on the 4th grant competition of young scientists and specialists will be held at ANAS Institute of Physics, Mathematics and Mechanics, Radiation Problems, Petrochemical Processes, Additives Chemistry, Geology and Geophysics, Oil and Gas, Molecular Biology and Biotechnologies, Azerbaijan State University of Oil and Industry, the Baku Slavic University, the National Oncology Center of the Ministry of Health, the Azerbaijan Student Youth Organizations Union, the Youth Tourism Public Union and the Azerbaijani Scientific Association.

17 of the winning projects are fundamental-applied, and 2 projects are dedicated to the Centennial of the establishment of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic and the first international school-seminar on "Oil and Geoecology" and the International Conference on "The role of Sustainable Health Tourism in the Country's Economy" conference will be held within this grant competition.

3 projects on physics, mathematics and technical sciences, 3 projects on Earth Sciences, 4 projects on chemistry, 3 projects on biology, medicine and agrarian science and 6 projects on humanities and social sciences have been selected. Out of the project leaders, 14 are women and 5 are men.
